Southern Style Greenbeans



  • 2 14.5oz cans of cut green beans
  • 3-4 strips of bacon, diced
  • 1 tbsp onion, finely diced
  • Salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste


Dice 3-4 pieces of bacon.

Dice 1 tablespoon of onion.

Add onion and bacon to a sauce pan.

Fry on medium-low heat until bacon is about 75% cooked.

Add two 14.5 ounce cans of green beans.

Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste.

Cook on medium-low heat until green beans are heated through. About 5-10 minutes.

Serves 4-6.
