Ingredients
- 20oz can of crushed pineapple
- 1 quart lime sherbet, I’d strongly recommend one in a box
- 1 packet Lime Kool-aide
- 1 cup sugar
- 8 cups water
- 2 liters Sprite
Instructions
This makes just under 2 gallons of punch so make sure you have something big enough to serve this with.
First, make your lime Kool-aide. This is the packet of lime Kool-aid, 1 cup of sugar, and 8 cups of water.
Mix well.
You want everything to to be cold so put your Kool-Aid, Sprite, and canned pineapple in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to cool it off.
I shouldn’t have to say this but I’m going to. Put your sherbet into the freezer while your waiting.
After everything is cooled it is time to make some punch.
To your serving container add you 20 oz can of crushed pineapple and Kool-aide.
Chunk up your sherbet. If you got the box kind you can take off the box and cut it up into cubes with a knife.
Add your sherbet to the serving container.
Give it a good mix but you aren’t trying to dissolve the sherbet.
Top with your 2 liters of Sprite. You’ll want to add this slowly as it will foam.
Give it a little stir and serve.
The number of servings will depend on the size of your cups. This would make between 20-30 servings.
