Ingredients

- 1 lb ground meat
- 24 oz spaghetti sauce
- 24 oz cottage cheese (I’d suggest a higher fat one so your lasagna isn’t watery)
- 1 box lasagna noodles (I’d strongly suggest getting the oven ready kind)
- 16 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Brown 1 lb of ground meat.
Add pasta sauce to meat and mix well.
If you didn’t get oven ready lasagna noodles you’ll want to cook these per the instructions on the package. For one 9×13 baking dish you’ll probably need 12 pieces.
**Our goal is going to be 3 full layers but that will be determined by the depth of your baking dish.
Put about 1/2 cup of spaghetti sauce in the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish and spread it out evenly. This is to prevent your pasta from sticking to the bottom.
Lay out 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
Spread 1/3 of the cottage cheese over top of the noodles.
Spread about 1 cup of spaghetti sauce over the top of the cottage cheese
Spread about 1/4 of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the sauce.
Put down 3 more noodles.
Add cottage cheese, spaghetti sauce, and shredded mozzarella cheese as you did in the previous layer.
Put down 3 more noodles
Add cottage cheese, spaghetti sauce, and shredded mozzarella cheese as you did in the previous layers.
Put down 3 more noodles.
Top with the remaining sauce (if any) and shredded mozzarella.
Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
Makes 12 servings.
