Hamburger Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 48 oz beef broth
  • 1 14.5oz can of diced tomatoes
  • 1 16oz bag of frozen vegetables
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp parsley

Instructions

In a soup pot start browning 1 pound of ground beef.

Dice 1 medium yellow onion.

Add onion to the pot with the ground beef.

Mince 6 cloves of garlic.

Add garlic to the pot with the ground beef and onions.

Once beef is cooked through and have started to become translucent add 48 oz of beef broth.

Dice 2 cups of potatoes.

Add potatoes to the soup pot.

Add a 14.5 ounce can of diced tomatoes, a 16 oz bag of frozen vegetables, 2 teaspoons of salt, 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, and one teaspoon of parsley.

Cook over medium-low heat until potatoes and frozen vegetables are cooked through. Generally around 15-20 minutes.

Serves 8.
